Argento says NWA free-TV move boosts visibility for wrestlers
Cristiano Argento, who has competed for the National Wrestling Alliance for about two years, said the promotion’s weekly program on Comet TV gives fans broader access to its roster and production. The show airs Saturdays and reached more than 270,000 viewers in its first broadcast on the network.
Argento noted that many wrestlers in the NWA have long careers in major promotions, bringing experience that benefits younger performers. He described the move to free television as an important step for both the company and the wider industry because it allows existing supporters to watch without a paid service.
Argento has not yet won a championship in the NWA. He said his main career goal remains capturing a title, while he also aims to show that performers from any background can succeed through sustained effort.
The NWA joins several other promotions that maintain regular weekly programming, increasing the number of options available to viewers who follow the sport throughout the year.
